North American Pond Hockey Championship
January 16-18 The Fox Sports North 2009 Pond Hockey North American Championship is now accepting online registrations. The Games begin Friday January 16,17,18. Made for Hockey Players - The NAC 0polari_medium Pond Hockey North America Championship – PHNAC 12/18/08 The NAC is proud to announce Polaris Industries as an official sponsor of the greatest pond hockey tournament in the Midwest. Polaris provides equipment for the NAC to clean the ice, move people, and is now offering an ATV in a raffle! All registered teams automatically receive 10 tickets for the drawing, and if the team makes it to the Championship round will receive another ten tickets to improve their chances of winning the machine. The NAC will be preparing the area one week before the playoffs, and is looking for volunteers that own shovels, snow blowers, cordless drills, and are interested in becoming part of the biggest ice hockey tournament in the USA. Of course we have a little way to go as our friends at Slate Rock in Saskatoon have the largest event on ice, but with the bay of Excelsior on Lake Minnetonka able to hold over 100 rinks we could get there in a year or two.
